Don't let the name fool you, No Fun is actually really fun! Found ourselves here due to the line for the original bar we tried to get into was blocks long, and our NYC local friends recommended this place as an alternative, AND it was right across the street! There was a small cover charge for guys (none of girls), and we were quickly welcomed in. The bar is divided into two sections, large front bar for a more chill area, and in the back, booths and a dance floor. Drinks were reasonably priced (8-11$), and they poured heavy, so no complaints there. The music and the crowd on the dance floor is what really made the night so fun! Great mix of of modern pop and classic throwbacks. The dance floor was crowded but everyone was polite and was just there to have a good time! Overall everyone we met/interacted with was nice. Def a younger crowded, and quite rowdy, but made for a fun first late night out in the city. Only complaint is inconsistency in pricing and friendliness of bartenders. Sometimes I'd order a vodka soda and it'd be 8$, and other times 11$. The female bartender with blonde hair was amazing and super nice. The male, not so much. Regardless, we still had an amazing time and the No Fun was a really fun time! Especially for someone visiting from Chicago and just looking for a good dance floor.

Great little spot. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Great drink selection and a great happy hour. No outside seats but windows open up. It's a little dark in the back but your eyes adjust. Food was dead on. Tacos rocked. Steak is my pick I tried them all. Have fun it's a great place to take a break when walking around the city.

My Girlfriend and our friend traveled up to NYC Sunday afternoon to visit my Sister and her Husband while they were in town on business. This was our last stop of the night and we only stayed for one round of drinks. We were able to get a table right away. The drinks came quickly and were very good. I would certainly come back here again solely because of the name. I like it due to its wit. I wish they sold patches and stickers. If you are in the area I recommend stopping in for a round.

I like the bar better than the dance floor but I appreciate that there is a variety here. What's standout to me about this bar is the service. I've been here a few times now and every single time I've had great people serving me. The drinks are typical for New York and this area. I'll continue to come back here, and I'm also interested to try the food. While the name says no fun, I have to politely disagree, I think it's pretty fun. 3.7/5
